The Ever-Evolving Brickell Skyline
Every morning, as I step out for my run, I feel the energy of Brickell shifting. This place is alive—constantly evolving, growing taller, shining brighter. It is no longer just a financial district; it is Miami’s beating heart, where luxury towers rise overnight, world-class restaurants buzz with life, and the waterfront remains the perfect escape from the city's fast pace.

A Run Through the Future of Miami
I start my run from my residence at the iconic EAST Hotel, making my way past the W Icon Complex, weaving through the early risers—some heading to work, others enjoying their first coffee, and a few, like me, out to move before the city fully wakes up. The skyline here is breathtaking, but what excites me the most is how much it is changing. Every few months, a new skyscraper pierces the sky. Aston Martin Residences on the opposite side of the river looks stunning and is basically completed, while many more incredible developments—business, residential, and hospitality—continue to rise. The vibe in Brickell is incredible, and the skyline is changing by the week. Running through Brickell feels like stepping into the future—its transformation unfolding before my eyes.

Serenity by Biscayne Bay
As I head toward Brickell Key, the air shifts. The city noise fades, replaced by the soft sound of Biscayne Bay's gentle waves lapping against the shore. This part of my run is my favorite—a moment of calm in the middle of the high-rises and constant motion. At sunrise, the magic is undeniable. The first golden rays bounce off the glass towers, the water shimmers in soft pastels, and for a brief moment, Miami feels peaceful. Along the waterfront, some are running like me, while others embrace the morning differently—flowing through yoga poses, stretching with the rising sun, and finding their own sense of zen before the day begins.

A Taste of Italy in Brickell
After my run, it is time to recharge, and there is no better place than Rosetta Bakery on Brickell Avenue, near the EAST Hotel. A perfectly crafted cappuccino or an espresso macchiato, as if I were in Milan (I am Italian, and at Rosetta they know about Italian coffee), in hand, I indulge in a classic Italian breakfast—a warm, fragrant focaccia filled with ham and eggs, or for a lighter option, eggs and spinach. But I also very much enjoy the classic focaccia with cherry tomatoes if you like a savory breakfast. For those with a sweet tooth, the freshly baked signature croissant is a delightful option, or if you really want to indulge, you should try the bombolone filled with cream or even Nutella—an irresistible treat. If I feel like something lighter, Pura Vida is my go-to for a fresh, healthy option.

Why I Love Brickell
Brickell is more than just a financial hub—it is an energetic community of smart professionals who work hard, play hard, and know how to enjoy life. It offers so much, and with every new building, every waterfront moment, and every perfect sunrise, it is not just evolving—it is getting better by the day. I simply love this place, whether I am traveling here for business or leisure—Miami Brickell is truly amazing.
